The Boyds team made the shortlist for three categories in the TOPRA Awards for Regulatory Excellence.
The TOPRA Awards for Regulatory Excellence are the annual international awards for celebrating achievement and best practice in regulatory affairs.
Eamonn McGowran, Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Boyds, was named a finalist in the Contribution category which honours regulatory affairs professionals who have made a significant contribution to a team or regulatory project(s) over the past three years.
Monica Pianella, Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Boyds, made the shortlist for the Horizon category which recognises outstanding ability in individuals with fewer than five years’ experience in the regulatory affairs profession.
Meanwhile, in the Communication category, the Boyds team was shortlisted for the delivery of our Conversations in Drug Development podcast. The award category recognises regulatory affairs professionals who have successfully conveyed complex healthcare messages to a broader audience.
Unfortunately the Boyds team was not announced as winners for any of these categories but were thrilled to have been crowned finalists and recognised for these achievements at the award ceremony.
Since launching in 2010, the TOPRA Awards categories have grown from five to nine, reflecting the range and level of contributions regulatory affairs professionals make to the sector. Submissions are evaluated by an independent judging panel of at least 20 leading figures in the regulatory sector.
The event took place at the Chartered Accountants Hall, One Moorgate Place in London on 28 November 2024.
