One Nucleus recently hosted their Building Life Science Adventures Conference which focused on industry career opportunities, such as clinical research.
The two-day event was held online and brought together panels of students, early career speakers, employers and universities to engage in lively discussions. Alan Boyd was invited to chair a session focused on opportunities in clinical research. He was joined by Rhianna Bell who is a Clinical Trials Apprentice at AstraZeneca, and Rene van der Merve who is Chief Medical Officer and Head of Clinical Development at Galvani Bioelectronics.
During the hour-long session, the panel discussed their own career experiences, explored the options available when looking to begin a career in clinical research, as well as the opportunities that are open to individuals wishing to progress and develop their career both in clinical affairs and beyond.
