Kimberley Ormerod is an experienced HR professional and Chief People Officer at Boyds.
Kimberley is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of experience, recognised for her strategic vision, structured approach, and adeptness at handling complex HR challenges. She specialises in strategic people management, business transformation, talent acquisition, coaching, training, employee development, and managing major change initiatives.
Prior to Boyds, Kimberley worked in HR across various sectors, including consultancy, SMEs, and global organisations. As Head of HR Support at Swissport covering UK, Ireland, Jersey, and International airports. Her responsibilities included talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation, compliance with labour laws, and utilising HR metrics for decision-making. During the pandemic, she successfully led the restructuring of operational and overhead changes, maintaining team effectiveness and employee morale.
Kimberley holds a Joint Honours Degree in Business Management and IT, a Post-graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Strategic Business Management. She is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
In September 2023, Kimberley joined Boyds to lead the HR function and manage the people strategy and HR requirements of the business. She is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture that empowers employees to achieve their goals and supports organisational growth.
