Boyds to chair and present at TOPRA Symposium

This year’s TOPRA Symposium will take place this October in Stockholm and is held in partnership with the Swedish MPA.

The three-day symposium will cover three separate tracks: human medicines, medical devices/IVDs and, veterinary medicines. On day three of the symposium (3rd October) an additional three parallel topic tracks are being run for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Jayne Hunt (Chair of TOPRA Biotech SPIN) and Kathryn Parsley, both Associate Directors of Regulatory Affairs at Boyds, have been invited to support the SME day: “ATMPs (Cell and Gene Therapies, the future) track .

Kathryn, who has 20 years hands on and regulatory experience in the ATMP field will be presenting the first session topic, ‘Introduction to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs)’. The session, chaired by Jayne Hunt, closes with Hélène Casaert from the SME Office, EMA joining Jayne and Kate for a panel Q&A session.

The TOPRA Symposium and exhibition is attended by regulatory and industry leaders and is the only Europe-wide healthcare regulatory affairs conference with comprehensive programmes covering medical technologies, human and animal medicines. The event aims to update delegates on the latest regulatory developments, provide insights directly from regulators, share regulatory intelligence as well as provide the opportunity to network and make new contacts.
