We’re delighted to welcome neuroscience master’s student Martha Hill as a medical intern within Boyds’ Clinical and Medical Affairs team.
Over the course of her
internship, Martha will be working closely with our medical writing, clinical operations and clinical teams, gaining hands-on experience across these key areas of the business.
She is currently pursuing a Neuroscience MSci Hons degree at the University of Nottingham. Next year, she will complete her master’s project at Eisai, focusing on drug research and development for neurodegenerative diseases and working in a laboratory environment.
At Boyds, Martha will work with colleagues across the company to learn more about their career paths and help her build her understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech landscape – from preclinical research through to late-stage clinical trials, regulation, and product approval.
Martha says: “During my time here at Boyds, I’m most looking forward to gaining a deeper and more strategic understanding of the pharmaceutical and drug development landscape – particularly how products move from early phase clinical trials through to roll out, and how key decisions shape that journey. I’m eager to be mentored by, and to learn from, the team’s diverse experience to see how theoretical challenges are applied to real consulting challenges.”
The Clinical and Medical Affairs Team at Boyds supports clients in all aspects of drug development and regulation, providing expert guidance that bridges the gap between industry and the wider medical community. Find out more.
