At Boyds, we are committed to supporting the communities around us – not only through our work, but through meaningful initiatives that make a tangible difference.
Recently, teams across our offices in the US and UK came together for a company-wide “Supermarket Sweep”, where colleagues were given a budget to purchase essential food items for local food banks. Working in teams, they were challenged to shop thoughtfully and maximise the impact of every pound spent.
From everyday essentials to cupboard staples, the items collected were distributed to food banks in our local communities, helping to support individuals and families facing increasing financial pressures.
We also received feedback from the food banks on the impact of these contributions. One food bank shared:
“The food donation was such a welcome addition to our stock, especially as we near the Easter holidays when local families often struggle… your contribution was a beautiful surprise and much appreciated.”
Another organisation added:
“Thank you for your generous support of our food bank and the wider community we serve… it is partners like you who help make our community stronger.”
